Tim received his Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. Tim’s experience over the past 10 years includes practice in award winning, nationally known firms ranging from Gensler L.A. to small boutique firms in NYC. The extent of this experience has led to a variety of projects including work on large scale master plans for Universal CityWalk, ABC Entertainment in Century City, the Las Vegas Monorail, the National Bank of Kuwait, and a variety of high end retail, corporate and residential design projects around the US, as well as academic and educational facilities, private residences, entire building renovation & business relocation, and custom furniture design.
Prior to joining DxDempsey as an Associate in 2008, Tim worked with Hemmler + Camayd Architects exclusively as a Project Architect on a 100,000 square foot Student Residence at The Moravian College Hurd Campus in Bethlehem, PA. The new building includes four class rooms, a café, a wellness center and apartments/suites for 240 students.
Tim continues to serve DxDempsey primarily as a Project Manager on various projects in the office. Most recently, his involvement includes the fit out and relocation of Physicians Health Alliance and the ongoing renovation & expansion of the Backyard Ale House in Scranton as well as the Misura Retail environments in the Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, Mirage, and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Tim is involved with several boards including The American Cancer Society, First Friday Scranton, and Power! Scranton as Volunteer Coordinator. He also works with the Program Advisory Committee at ITT Technical Institute and is frequently a guest critic of student work at the Marywood School of Architecture.
