DxDEMPSEY teamed up with Beyer Blinder Belle to develop a sustainable Master Plan for 117 acres of picturesque land on the former estate of the Johnson & Johnson family in Clifford, Pennsylvania.
The team met with stakeholders and identified priorities for the site. The team also analyzed preservation and adaptive re-use potential and facilitated public meetings.
Options for adaptive re-use, management and financing were predicated on preservation, and enhancement of the site’s architectural, natural and cultural assets. Development of the site will maintain the land’s integrity by keeping the incredible view sheds and vast majority of green space.
The potential program includes a small village surrounded by assets such
as an organic farm, vineyards, artisan shops in the former barns, hiking
trails and orchards.
