DxDempsey teamed up with the renowned Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners to develop a sustainable Master Plan for 117 acres of picturesque land on the former estate of the Johnson & Johnson family in Clifford, Pennsylvania.
The team met with stakeholders, identified priorities for the site, analyzed preservation and adaptive reuse potential and facilitated public meetings and charrettes.
Options for adaptive reuse, management and financing were predicated on preservation, and enhancement of the site’s architectural, natural and cultural assets. Development of the site maintains its integrity by keeping the incredible view sheds and the vast majority of green space. The potential program includes a small village surrounded by assets such as an organic farm, vineyards, artisans shops in the former barns, hiking trails and orchards.
